Those favorites hinted at our gifts. They pointed the way to our exciting futures as entrepreneurs, dancers or astronauts. We did what was fun, and, in the process, we began to find and follow our paths. As young adults, however, our paths began to fade under thickets of obstacles: other people’s expectations, poor self-esteem and /or lack of faith. But, the good news is that, for each of us, the path is still out there. A cover of tangled weeds may hide its course, but it’s still there. A few tracking lessons can put you back in the hunt. An expert tracker can follow a trail that’s been cold for days, months, or even years. Trackers like this can track over any terrain, under all kinds of weather, and even in the dark of night. Tracking, however, is not just about following a set of prints in the dirt. The physical skill of observation constitutes only about 10% of what it takes to be a good tracker. The other 90% consists of awareness and intuition. Here’s how you can apply tracking techniques to your career hunt. OBSERVATION The first step a would-be tracker takes is to develop his or her powers of observation to a razor-sharp edge. Called the “eye of the tracker,” it’s the ability to discern a large amount of information from the environment with a glance. Students spend years engaged in study and first - hand observation, or “dirt time” as it’s called, to gain an intimate knowledge of the natural environment and habits of animals. For instance, when trackers wants to see animals, they know where to look for them. They’ll look in areas such as on the edges of forests and fields, at times of transition like twilight, or right before or after a storm. In the process of mastering the facts, the tracker cultivates “the eye of the tracker,” a questioning awareness that sees beyond the obvious. Once you have clarity, you’re halfway there. After that, your mind starts looking for ways to help you reach your goals, so watch for the signs. AWARENESS Trackers often find themselves in dangerous environments, and when they do, they use everything they have in order to survive. To enhance their chances for survival, they continually develop their powers of observation, which leads them to ever-deeper levels of awareness of their environment. In practice, they’ll focus on details like tracks, but they stay aware of the sounds, colors, shapes, and smells of the environment at the same time. This technique is known by many names such as “peak awareness,” “soft-focus” and “splatter vision.” It’s like looking through a camera with a wide-angle lens attached. As trackers manage this balancing act between focusing on everything and nothing, they fall into meditative states where they become part of the environment. When something does attract their attention, they focus on it to see what it is. A master tracker can sense the presence of other animals and danger. Transition For Careers The key to life is paying attention to the little moments without losing touch with what’s going on around you. You have to become aware of whether you are happy in your career or not; and if you are not, you must make the sacrifices needed in order for you to get out. At the same time, consider what’s the most important contribution you would like to make. So, find the time to relax, and think about a new direction. Ask yourself two questions: “what am I good at doing, and “what do I enjoy doing?” You may be good at doing something that you don’t like. You need to combine both to make the perfect job. Play with the possibilities, mentally mixing and matching your talents and interests. Stir it all in a pot, and let it simmer. Then, notice the insights, ideas and coincidences that percolate into your consciousness as a result. Act on the suggestions that feel right. INTUITION The best trackers have keen senses of intuition that alert them to the presence of other animals and danger. At Tom Brown’s Wilderness and Survival School in Pine Barrens, New Jersey, they’ve developed a training method called the “blindfold technique” to teach students how to tune into their intuition. Students’ cross a sixty yard field, blindfolded, guided only by their feelings and the sound of a drum. To succeed in this exercise, you have to let go of your logical mind –the part that’s telling you this is crazy. You have to trust yourself and let your feeling guide you across the field. People stumble and fall at first, but if they stick with it, they’ll get it. The blindfold technique forces you to pay attention to your other senses and intuition. Visually, we’re overdeveloped. People go blind and develop other skills that we all have, but don’t usually bother to develop. The blindfold technique forces you to focus on what you hear, touch, smell and feel. You can access your inner knowing in ways less stressful than taking part in the blindfold technique. You can visit a natural area one afternoon and sit by a stream and watch the animals. Repetitive motions such as knitting or woodworking can also clear the mind, making room for new insights. Transition For Careers There are two basic career strategies. Do what’s practical, or follow your dream. Following your dream may not be the most financially rewarding path, but in the long run, the people who make the most money are passionate about what they do. There are CEO’s out there who don’t have degrees, but they do have passion for their work. To find your right career, you have to think with your heart. Although it may be hard to identify your inner voice in the beginning, you just have to do the best you can. Move ahead cautiously at first. Take a small step. Then, if everything looks good, take another step. Trackers call it “stealth walking.” CONCLUSION Trackers develop their powers of observation, awareness and intuition so they can tune-in to their environment and make out its message. Because Jesus, as the Lamb on the Throne spoke these things to me, I have to share them with the people that I can. The time is coming when the warfare will be more public. The things I am sharing are hard to receive. It is hard to take in just exactly what it means that: The Antichrist is a spirit being who has taken over and is taking over almost all of Jesus Bride, the Charismatic Christian Church. Hundreds of thousands of Christians have already taken the Mark of the Beast. Only Jesus knows at what point someone is considered to have taken the Mark of the Beast, which represents the Religious System and man sitting on the Throne in the place of the Holy Spirit. Jesus told me that because it is an invisible mark, He can erase it. That is why the cry “Come away from her my people so that you do not partake of her judgements” in the Book of Revelation is directed to us to come away from the Church and cleanse ourselves from her filth and her teachings. Many of God’s Apostles, Prophets, Pastors have aligned themselves with the Antichrist and the Beast. We are living out the final war. We already ARE in the Great Tribulation but right now it applies mainly to the church. It is a Great Tribulation seen in the invisible, spiritual realm, but still very real. Most of what we see in the Book of Revelation happens in the spirit realm but there are also parallels in the physical realm. Those who have taken the mark of the beast will be left behind in the rapture. That is the Lake of Fire they are going to suffer. They are planning and will carry out a nuclear attack on the United States. The Charismatic Church is the Great Whore of Babylon. The Jewels and costly clothing she wears represent: the gifts of the spirit, the revelations, the anointing, the “glory.” I will elaborate on this more but if you read Revelation chapter 17 and 18, you will see a description of the Charismatic Church who originates in the United states. Revelation chapter 18 describes a nuclear attack on the United States, modern Babylon. These things will happen after the rapture. The spiuritual blood of the martyrs speaks of those who have been outcast, shunned and rejected for being true to the Lamb of God. The United States is spiritual Babylon, the culmination of wealth and technology. Please read the chapters Revelation 17 and 18 again and you will see a nuclear attack, devastating the United States. I will explain to you, why it is the Church and not a false religion or Rome that is the Great Whore: This is exactly what Jesus explained to me. Please keep in mind that the things I am sharing with you do not come from my own perception, or understanding or discernment. They were Spoken to me by the Lamb Who Sits on the Throne. What I am sharing with you is exactly what Jesus has spoken to me. When God, in the Bible, calls a woman a Harlot, Whore, Adulterous, unfaithful and on He is only referring to His Wife. The Book of Hosea, Ezekiel 16 and on and on speak of His own people committing spiritual adultery. Only a wife can be an adulterous woman. In the Old Testament, God’s wife was Israel. Your husband is your Maker. In the New Testament, the Church is God’s wife. The reason the Church is referred to as the Great Whore is because she is married to God’s Son, Jesus and she has the infilling of the Holy Spirit, which the Israelites did not really have except for a few people. Her beauty and royal garments, represent her status as a Queen, being married to the King. The Command “Come out of her My People so that you do not partake in her judgments” is a command to us: God wants to cleanse us from her defiled teachings; a mixture of Holy Spirit truth with other things. He wants to cleanse us from her lust for more and more quail. This means more and better: teachings, revelations, visions, prophecies, books, dreams and so on. And the people cried out for more and more quail. In the dessert when they cried out God gave them the quail they craved but His anger was inflamed. The end of all things has arrived and we as a body of Christ are either just eating more and more honey, which means the sweetness of Jesus, things that make us feel happy and feel good, until Jesus stomach is sick from all the honey we try to gorge ourselves on. Or we are stuffing ourselves on quail: more prophet conferences, Glory, Visions, Revelations and books and teachings making us lust for money and success. Jesus has gotten so sick of this that not all manifestations of God are a thing to rejoice about. In one prophet conference I watched there was gold dust falling down and birds feathers falling all around. Everyone was so excited about that, and it WAS a manifestation of God.But as we watched the Prophet conference together Jesus told me: “That was me shaking off the dust from where I am, the streets of gold.” Jesus was shaking the gold dust off of His feet! And the feathers that fell all over the place were the feathers of the Dove, the Holy Spirit which was not a good sign either. However, the new millennium has been less fortunate for office furniture manufacturers. Between 2000 and 2003, office furniture shipments in the United States fell by more than one-third. This was the largest decrease in shipments for over 20 years. The market has since recovered a bit reaching a value of $10,070 million in 2005, but this is still more than $ 3,000 million below the 2000 peak level. Office employment growth climbed only an estimate 1.8 percent this year. Next year may see another modest increase of 1.0 percent. In the years after 2007, we anticipate office employment to advance at rates in the 1.7 to 2.0 percent range. Due to the relatively weak employment market in officer intensive industries, office furniture sales will only hover around the 5 percent growth mark in the next few years. In current dollar terms, growth will be 1.5 to 2.0 percent higher than this. Wood office furniture accounted for $2,723 million of the total market for office furniture, or 27.0 percent in 2005. During the past ten years it fluctuated between 21.9 percent in1998 and 27.0 percent in 2005. Given the relatively more expensive nature, wooden office furniture is more likely to gain market share when corporate earnings are strong rather than during periods of fiscal constraint. By A.J. Klott Stopped into The Fishin’ Hole the other day, which happens to be one of my favorite fishing tackle/outfitter/sandwich shops. (Talk about your one stop shopping!!) I was looking for a good 8 weight line to take to Alaska. What I came away with was an update from about four different people who had just returned from Alaska. Now, for those of you that have been following my upcoming maiden trip to The Last Frontier -you know that I am headed up there in a week from now. So it was nice to hear some first hand reports on what is going on, and how the fishing is doing. Of course I am a little concerned that right there in the tiny town of Shady Cove, Oregon–there were four people who have recently been to Alaska right there at that given moment in that fishing tackle/outfitter/sandwich shop! If you take the ratio of those four people at that given time and the odds that they had been to Alaska and multply that out over the entire nation…. well….. you come up with a pretty dang high number! And to think I was worried about the mosquitoes. Anyway, one fella happened to have a photo album and all I had to say was that I was headed up to Alaska–and of course he pulled out that album and showed me some rather dandy Halibut that weighed in at 178 pounds. He also said if he didn’t have one of those belts that you strap on to fight Marlin, he would probably be recovering from hernia surgery. I of course said the fish was nice– but I was more concerned with the mosquitoes. He told me they didn’t bother him.Hmmmm now that sounds fishy to me. Another person reported that the Kenai–the LOWLY Kenai— fished well and they caught some really nice King Salmon. They weren’t bragging about size so they were either really big or really small. Not sure. They also went Halibut fishing and caught some 20 pounders, certainly not big by Alaskan standards. They also reported that every person on the boat puked their guts out. Now there is something to look forward to. I hope I am fishing out of a Princess Cruiseliner–but I doubt it. I also asked them how the mosquitoes were? To quote them: ” OH MY GOD- THEY WERE BIG AS BIRDS!!” Nice. Puking, scratching, and hernia surgery!! We discussed the various options of Deet and netting, but it sounded like that only made it more challenging for the skeeters to find a way to make your life miserable.They described the mosquitoes approaching, ‘like a black cloud’ and then enveloping them in a blood sucking frenzy. Sounds like a Stephen King novel. One gal produced a bottle of some ” natural” deet free repellant, and offered up a very weak, “our friends used this up at Diamond Lake last week and said this stuff is ‘the bomb’.” Unless she meant “bug bomb”–I wasn’t about to start experimenting with anything unproven. Besides, the difference between Diamond Lake mosquitoes and the Kenai Peninsula mosquitoes is probably like the difference between Peoria and Yankee Stadium. I told her I’d try it but I would need her cell number so I could be sure to call her at midnight if her”natural” spray was ineffective. She pulled that bottle off the counter faster than a Ford truck recall goes out. So it sounded like fishing was going about as expected, and the mosquitoes were going as expected also. I also received a call from another buddy who wanted to go fishing on the Klamath River, in California, the week after I get back. He is an Alaskan fishing veteran so he had all sorts of good information to offer up about catching Silvers, including a “special” fly pattern that he developed and ties himself. I am now going to be his official “field tester” –because I suspect he thinks- if I can catch a fish with it…then it has real marketing potential. So look for it’s appearance on the “two guys with flys” website if it works. If not… well… you can always look for my swollen festering mosquito welts. I have also checked in with my good friend Tom, who if you remember, floated the Kisaralik River last month. He is back and reported a successful trip, in the respect that no one was eaten by a Bear, and they returned with same number of people they left with. Oh, and the fishing was great for BIG TROUT, and of course–Deet had little or no effect at stopping the onslaught of mosquitoes.As evidenced by his scabbed over arm full of bites and “Calamine lotioned” skin color. Also received a phone call from Ranger Kurt–and he pretty much just laughed maniacally and kept saying things like: “August in Alaska” “August in Alaska” “HA HA HA ha…….” Perhaps a few to many bites from his last trip??
